Experience the sensations of Slovenian eagles and the world jumping elite with the help of the steepest zipline descent in the world, and fly over the Planica giant hill, the largest ski flying hill in the world.

Your spectacular flight will be as much as 566 m long, and you will reach the speed of up to 85 km/h in just a few seconds.

Bold creators and architects of breath-taking Planica ski jumping hills, fearless ski jumpers from all over the world, and loyal visitors are realizing age-old desires and dreams of a man to fly.
In Planica, it was for the first time in history that a man flew over 100 and 200 metres. In total, this valley witnessed more than 40 world records on two jumping hills, which is more than in any other place in the world.
Planica has been setting a new dimension of flying experience because Zipline Planica gives us the opportunity to learn what it is like to fly on the Planica giant hill.

WHERE IS THE MEETING POINT?

WHAT ARE RESTRICTIONS OF USE?
You don’t need any special knowledge for a zipline descent. Zipline Planica is appropriate for anyone over the age of 10, who doesn’t suffer from psychophysical problems such as the fear of height which would in any way endanger their health or the health of any other person. Physical restrictions are related particularly to minimum and maximum weight and height (minimum weight 30 kg, maximum weight 120 kg, minimum height 140 cm).
Children aged 5 or more, not less than 120 cm in height, can enjoy a tandem descent in the company of their parents or guardians, provided the total mass does not exceed 120 kg.
It is also mandatory to observe health restrictions, such as:
- People under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other substances, which reduce psychophysical abilities
- People with spine injuries
- People with increased blood pressure or cardiovascular diseases
- Pregnant women
- People with epilepsy
- People who underwent surgery less than 6 months ago
- People who underwent eye surgery less than 3 months ago
- People with motion disability – they must be warned of the possibility of pain – participation only at their own risk
HOW IS MY SAFETY ASSURED?
The company Koren Sports d.o.o. offers sports and tourist activities in a professionally and safely organized way. We specialise in installing and operating such devices. All safety equipment we use in activities and all safety gear of participants comply with the EN 15667-1 safety standard. Professionally qualified and trained personnel will provide you with detailed information about the descent.
The entire descent is fully automated, which eliminates the possibility of human error. The system includes three fully independent braking systems, which guarantee 100% safety. Before the descent, we will fully inform you of safety aspects of the descent and of the proper use of personal protection equipment.
WHAT IF I AM AFRAID OF HEIGHTS?
Throughout your descent with the Zipline Planica device you will be relatively low above the ground because for a major part of the descent the tight wire rope follows the ski jump profile. If you have serious doubts or intense fear of heights and speed, we strongly recommend you sustain from descending down with Zipline Planica.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
Chairlift ride to the top of the inrun, rent of personal protection equipment (helmet, safety harness, pulley) and ride down the Zipline device.
WHAT CLOTHES DO I NEED?
We recommend appropriate footwear, such as hiking boots or trainers.
Clothes should be adapted to weather conditions. Long hair should be tied back in a ponytail.
WHAT HAPPENS IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER?
Bad weather by itself is not a reason not to go through with the descent. Descents are possible at temperatures ranging between -10 and +40, in the rain and in the snow. If the weather is really inappropriate (lighting, sleet, strong wind) for a zipline descent, you will be duly notified. In this case, your booking will be cancelled or postponed to a more suitable time.
